The Vernal City Council approved Ordinance No. 2017-04 amending the Vernal City Municipal Code, amending section 16.20.700 urban livestock. This ordinance changes the requirement to totally destroy a bee hive that has been overcome by Africanized bees, and allows the owner to either destroy or re-queen the hive.
