The Wayne County is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The Wayne County tax on a $150,000 residence would increase from $146.85 to $171.43, which is $24.58 per year. - The Wayne County tax on a $150,000 business would increase from $267.00 to $311 .69, which is $44.69 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, Wayne County would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 16.74% above last year\'s property tax budgeted revenue excluding new growth.
