Notice is hereby given to all registered voters residing in the City of American Fork that the Municipal Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017. The 2017 Municipal Election is being conducted by mail, meaning all registered voters will receive a ballot in the mail. If you have questions about your ballot, lost or never received your ballot, or made a mistake and need a new ballot prior to Election Day, please call the County Elections Office at 801-851-8128. There will be a Voter Service Center at the American Fork Library (64 South 100 East) on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. where voters can drop off their ballots, receive help with voting issues, or vote provisionally. You will need to show proper identification at the voter service center if you need a replacement ballot or to vote provisionally. Ballots can be mailed in, dropped off at the Utah County Elections office, or delivered to the City Recorderís office no later than August 14, 2017.

The qualifications for a person to vote in the election are: (1) be a citizen of the United States, (2) a resident of Utah at least 30 days immediately preceding the election, (3) at least 18 years old on the day of election, and (4) a registered voter.

(Bill Houlin has withdrawn from the election. However, the ballots were printed prior to his withdrawal and his name remains on the ballot. Any vote for Bill Houlin will not be counted.)
