Moab City is soliciting proposals to provide alterations to the Moab City Animal Services building, 956 East Sand Flats Road, Moab, Utah as defined by the Contract Documents.

Bidding Documents are included within the project manual and drawings dated April 7, 2017, prepared by the
Architect. One set of printed Bidding Documents, per Contractor, will be available at the offices of the Owner, no sooner than 10:00 AM, April 21, 2017. A $60 fee, in the form of a check made payable to \"Moab City\", will be required to obtain full size documents.
Documents in electronic format, including original construction document drawings, will be made available at www.moabcity.org via the Owner. In order to be considered responsive, sealed bids are to be submitted on the bid form copied from the Project Manual and shall be submitted to the Owner, no later than 3:00 p.m., May 12, 2017. Please note that time is of the essence for this contract.
Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the offices of the Owner on the day and time stipulated for the submittal of bids. An abstract of bids will be made available to bidders. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope as stipulated in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids shall be sent via U.S. Mail, commercial carrier or hand delivered. Bids will not be accepted by facsimile. Bids received after the time
stipulated for receipt of bids will be returned unopened.
A pre-bid conference will be held at the project site at the time and date indicated within the Instructions to Bidders. The project will require a Bid Bond, Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Liability Insurance, Workers\' Compensation Insurance and current Utah State contractor license.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive any informality or technicality in any proposal in the interest of the Owner.
