Kaysville Advertisement for Bids

Kaysville City will receive sealed bids for the 200 North Signal and Roadway Improvements. Bids will be received until 2:00 P.M., May 4, 2017 at the Kaysville City Offices, located at 23 East Center Street, Kaysville, Utah 84037, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Install 2,400 linear feet of 24” RCP storm drain, mill 108,898 sq. ft. of asphalt, pavement widening and asphalt overlay, including 15,006 cu. yd. of roadway excavation, 7,986 cu. yd. of roadway embankment, 4,858 cu. yd. of granular borrow, 4,416 cu. yd. of untreated base course, 5,743 tons of asphalt, 138,348 sq. ft. of geotextile, install a traffic signal, and other roadway widening improvements.
COMPLETION OF WORK: The WORK must be completed as follows: All work shall be complete by September 27, 2017. The project will be awarded at City Council on May 18, 2017. The contractor must mobilize by May 30, 2017.
OPENING OF BIDS: The BIDS will be publicly opened and read at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 4, 2017, at the above-mentioned office of the OWNER, in the City Council chambers.
OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Complete sets of Contract Documents and Construction Plans will be available in digital PDF format through the BidSync/Periscope website.
BID SECURITY: Each BID shall be accompanied by a certified check or cashier’s check or Bid Bond in the
amount of FIVE (5%) of the Total Bid Price payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that the Bidder, if it’s Bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. A Bid shall not be considered unless one of the forms of the Bidder’s security is enclosed with it.
BIDS TO REMAIN OPEN: All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance prior to execution of agreement with apparent successful bidder, but OWNER may, in his sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid Security prior to that date. Kaysville City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
