NOTICE OF POTENTIAL ANNEXATION
Notice is hereby given that a petition has been filed with Hideout Town to annex property into the Town. The Town Clerk certified the petition as being in compliance with state law on the 2nd day of March 2017. The area proposed to be annexed into Hideout Town is approximately 15.56 acres and is located approximately at 400 East Longview Drive. The legal description for the property is as follows:
BEG S89°33\'19W 2888.6 FT FR NE COR SEC 17 T2S R5E SLM; S00°05\'38\"W 879.02 FT; S89°28\'38\"W 1110.39 FT; N00°15\'12\"E 880.56 FT; N89°33\'19\"E 1107.92 FT TO BEG. AREA: 22.40 ACRES (LESS HWY 189 6.84 ACRES) NET AREA: 15.56 ACRES\"
A complete copy of the annexation petition is available for inspection and copying at the office of the Town.
The Town may annex the property unless a written protest is filed with the Wasatch County Boundary Commission (or County Clerk) and the Town within 30 days from the 2nd day of March 2017. The last day to file protests is the 2nd day of April 2017.[this should be 30 days from the certification]
