Notice is hereby given that the Sanpete County Commission will hold a Public Hearing to consider a petition to amend the Sanpete County General Plan and Zoning Map. The proposed amendment is as follows:
Shad Hardy, Hardycrete LLC and CC&R Associates petitioned Sanpete County to approve a zone change of real property presently zoned as Business/Commercial (BC) to Industrial (IN) zoning. Shad Hardy and Hardycrete are negotiating a purchase of 9.63 acres from Jason Stevens.
Also included in the proposed zone change is an adjacent amount of property containing approximately .75 acres owned or held by CC&R Associates. The total acreage subject to the proposed zone change equals 10.35 acres.
The purpose of the zone change is to erect a ready mix concrete plant operation. Specifically, these properties lie on the west side of Highway 132, approximately 2 miles south of Chester. Parcels affected by the proposed zone change are parcel # S-27196X, S-27196X1 and 27196X2.

Anyone objecting to the proposed zoning amendment must file a written objection with the Sanpete County Clerk’s Office at the Sanpete County Courthouse within 10 days of the date of this Notice.
A public hearing has been scheduled at the Sanpete County Commission Chambers in the Sanpete County Courthouse on the 4th day of April 2017, at 1:45 p.m.
