NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Box Elder County Surplus Property Policy #2000-01, (amended 01/12/2010) that a public hearing will be held April 5, 2017 at 5:10 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at the Box Elder County Courthouse, 01 South Main Street, Brigham City, Utah 84302. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive input regarding an applicant who would like to vacate his property because the road goes down the middle of the property and they own both sides of the proposed road vacate. The Planning Commission has recommended approval of this item to the County Commission with the sale price of $1.00.

The applicant and property owner is Jeffery John and the property is located at 15600 North 5300 West in the Riverside area of Box Elder County and being more specifically described as follows:

A PART OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 11, TOWNSHIP 12 NORTH, RANGE 3 WEST OF THE SALT LAKE BASE AND MERIDIAN.

BEGINNING AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 1 BLOCK 4 RIVERSIDE TOWNSITE SURVEY, BOX ELDER COUNTY, UTAH. BEING A POINT ON THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF 15600 NORTH STREET LOCATED 602.76 FEET SOUTH 89*24\'47\" WEST ALONG THE CENTER SECTION LINE OF SAID SECTION AND 36.36 FEET SOUTH 00*38\'38\" EAST FROM THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 11;

RUNNING THENCE NORTH 89*21\'22\" EAST 18.00 FEET ALONG SAID SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE TO THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 2 BLOCK 4 OF SAID RIVERSIDE TOWNSITE SURVEY; THENCE SOUTH 00*38\'38\" EAST 208.70 FEET TO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SAID LOT 2; THENCE SOUTH 89*21\'22\" WEST 18.00 FEET ALONG SAID NORTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE TO THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SAID LOT 1; THENCE NORTH 00*38\'38\" WEST 208.70 FEET ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID LOT 1 TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. CONTAINING 0.086 ACRES.
