Duchesne City Water System Rehabilitation Phase II Project
Separate sealed Bids for the Construction of the Duchesne City Water System Rehabilitation - Phase II Project will be received by Duchesne City at the Duchesne City Hall, 500 E. Main Street, Duchesne, Utah 84021, until 3:00 p.m. MDST, Thursday, March 15, 2012, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
The principal items of work are approximately as follows:
Construction of approximately 24,000 linear feet of 8-inch DR-18 PVC C-900 water distribution lines throughout Duchesne City. The project includes construction of a Pressure Reducing Valve Station, a Check Valve Station, and Duchesne River Crossing. The project also includes 163 residential services, 34 hydrants, and 1 combination air release stations. The project will also include gravel driveway repair, approximately 6,400 square yards of asphalt repair, landscape restoration, etc.
Project is to be completed within 180 calendar days from Notice to Proceed.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, consisting of Advertisement for Bids, Information for Bidders, Bid, Bid Bond, Agreement, Payment Bond, Performance Bond, Notice of Award, Notice to Proceed, Change Order, General Conditions, Supplemental General Conditions, Status Verification System Affidavit, Certificate of Non-Collusion, Specifications, Drawings, and Addenda, may be examined at the following locations on Monday, February 27, 2012:

Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained on Monday, February 27, 2012, at the office of Horrocks Engineers located at 2162 West Grove Parkway Suite #400, Pleasant Grove, UT 84062 or Horrocks Engineers Roosevelt Office located at 157 South 300 East, Roosevelt, UT 84066, upon payment of $50.00 for each set, none of which will be refunded. A mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held Thursday, March 08, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. MDST at the Duchesne City Hall.
All BIDDERS are required to have bid bond in the amount of 5% of their total bid, and the successful BIDDER will be required to provide both payment and performance bonds underwritten by a Surety Company approved by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. (Circular 570, latest edition).
