Notice to Contractors
Bountiful City Corporation is requesting proposals for Construction Management/General Contractor services for the following project:
Bountiful Historical Museum and Arts Center
745 South Main St., Bountiful, Utah 84010
This Construction Management/ General Contractor (GM/GC) project includes construction of a new building addition adjacent to the existing Bountiful Davis Arts Center and renovation of the existing structure which currently serves as the arts center. The budgeted amount for the projectís Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) is $1,950,000.00 (one million nine hundred fifty thousand dollars).
The Request for Proposals (RFP) documents, including the selection requirements and selection schedule will be available for download from the Engineering Department FTP page of Bountiful City website on Thursday, February 9, 2012. The web page address is: ftp://64.244.80.242/ftp/Engineering

All interested Contractors are invited to attend a mandatory Pre-Proposals meeting on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. This meeting will be held in the Planning Conference Room of Bountiful City Hall. The Pre-Proposal meeting will be followed by a walk-through of the existing Arts Center. Bountiful City Hall is located at 790 South 100 East, Bountiful.
Proposals, including a fee proposal, project approach, references and statements of qualifications must be received by 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2012. Proposals may be mailed or delivered to:

The contractor for the project must be a Utah Licensed General Contractor.
Association with other individuals or firms having appropriate professional expertise is acceptable.
Bountiful City will enter into a single agreement with the successful Contractor.
A Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Contractorís Fixed Limit of Construction Cost (FLCC) made payable to the Bountiful City Corporation and a bid bond form, shall accompany the cost proposal. Bountiful City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or to waive any formality or technicality in any proposal in the best interest of the City.
